I seem to be drawn to rustic/country style at the moment. Perhaps it's the simplicity and earthiness I crave. These kitchens seem to take the pressure off when it comes to decorating. They are just naturally beautiful.
I agree with you. Maybe its the warmth of the timber with the white...but what I am really liking and wanting is a takeaway kitchen made up of dressers and sideboard and old food safes!!!!!!
I love the natural rustic look of a farmhouse style kitchen, these are lovely examples. Thank you for the lovely comments on Tabi's bridal shower and our home Rachael :) Have a happy week, Wendy xx
Hi Rachel, Just stopped by for a browse of your lovely blog, Andy and I bought our forever cottage in march and it needs lots doing have all my ideas and a huge wishlist, but love the further inspiration you give x
I love the first one , but I bet it took more pressure accomplishing that 'perfect' rustic look than the dreamy white kitchens. Its been a while Racheal since Ive been about. Just catching up , I was sorry to hear of your families loss. I hope time will heal & you can hold onto the lovely memories of your dear friend. Karyn x
Me too, me too, loving rustic, earthly rooms at the moment. Maybe it's got something to do with budget? Bought my land, now can't afford to build the house. Simple and rustic, now there's a thought! A-M xx
I love them all but I think #4 is my favourite with all that light streaming in through the windows. I often wish we'd gone with timber benchtops when we renovated our kitchen - I like the rustic/country look of them and the warmth they bring to a room.
Hope all is well over your way and that your business is doing well x
Hi stranger, have been away from blogland for quite a while. Yes, I do love these kitchens too. I am looking forward to having a hot cup of milo tonight, and flicking through all my fav old blogs - yours included of course. Cant wait to see what beauties you have in your shop. :)
