Dear Photograph

Dear Photograph,

New Year’s resolutions and 30 years gone by…what was that little boy inside of me thinking about so long ago? I hope I never quit chasing that little boy’s dreams. It’s what matters most.

Dear Photograph,

Snowflakes and kisses, being small and care free…these are a few of my favorite things.

Dear Photograph,
I know he must be shaking his head every time he looks down at me and sees me smoking. I’m trying to quit for him. I miss you gramps, and I’m sorry.
Love, Katie

Dear Photograph,

This Christmas was my first without you. You gave me the best 14 years a dog could ever give, and that special gift of love…your puppies. I miss them, and I will always miss your sweet face.

Love, Chantal

Dear Photograph,

My Dad made sure that our yearly Christmas tradition of topping the tree was such an honor between my brothers and I. This is one cozy memory that I will always hold close to my heart…and I know when my time comes, I will make sure I pass it on to my own family.
Merry Christmas!

Taylor

Dear Photograph,
It’s been 50 years since I wore that snowsuit, and so much has changed. Yet in many ways, it feels like so little has…just the way it should be.

This amazing website is a good reminder of how transient life is and how important it is to enjoy every moment we have with the people we love.

"Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year."

Ralph Waldo Emerson

It's only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth -- and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up -- that we will begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had.

That IS amazing, and sweet.

I love the way that is done. I remember that CNN had a series to commemorate 9/11, which incorporate people's pictures of the WTC

Aaaaah!! I have images like this. The first one made me get teary thinking about my three little boys sitting on the hearth in this very home. That is one thing about living in a home for over 30 years, it is full of precious memories, Thanks for sharing this today,
