I Love You

KikkiK

My daughter Charlotte is 5 and at times she seems so grown up. She loves trying to read and write at the moment and has worked out how to write notes to me..

I've received one of these each day for the past week and they are very precious. Watching my children grow up is so bittersweet. I love watching them grow like this but I also miss all the lovely little things they used to do.

Bridget..my 3 year old.. is too young to write but she draws these beautiful pictures and they are her way of saying I love you..

I had a scrapbook to put them in but then I found the perfect journal from Kikki K (above). Now I'll always have them.. they are something to be treasured xx

What treasures and how nice to have a journal for them now. Won't it be wonderful to look back on these notes in a few years' time :)

Oh my goodness, aren't they precious. I have to get that book. I have buckets of love letters from my boys... and many " I am sorry for being so naughty notes" too! I have kept every one.... and I am not a hoarder! A-M xx

That is seriously lovely. I suspect you might need more than one of those books Rachael :)

Gorgeous... and I agree, it is a bittersweet journey. My youngest is two and I so desperately want to keep her that way for longer than a year... gxo

That is just beautiful, I will have to get a scrapbook like that. My 5 year old daughter is doing the same having learnt how to write 'I love you' recently. My almost 3 year old boy is starting to draw things too. Just gorgeous. Gx
