Anna from Around My Table has taken off to Europe for a lovely break and has very kindly asked me to guest post for her today..it's called Repurpose.. you can have a look here. Happy weekend xx
The kitchen looks great. I am a big one for repurpose - reduce, reuse, recycle is something I promote through my work (I work in communications for a sustainability organisation), so always on the look out for design ideas like this.
Hi Rachael, what a fabulous guest post!! I love the idea of repurposing:) I also love those industrial spring stools!! Thank you for featuring my hearts, yours are on their way:) Hope you are having a wonderful weekend ~ Txx
Hi Rachael - just popped over and read your wonderful post. You've shared some wonderful pieces, all of which I'd be more than happy to have in our home. I like seeing things repurposed and given a new 'life' :)
Love the stools...I am operating my flooring business from a 1930's building and repurposing is our theme to make it work. The city installed a backflow pump which required tearing up concrete inside the store, which then necessitated a plywood box to hide the interior equipment, which then turned into seating and then an extended 'L-shaped" banquet to which we added a cushion and conference...you get the point. It is a future post on my blog!...Diane
Hello dear, I was lucky today to find some time and internet connection to visit the blog world. Thank you so much for the fabulous guest post. Warm regards, Anna

Great post Rachael. I am heading over to Tina's to check out those pressed tin hearts again!
Great post. I love the milk bottle idea. I have some original ones and might do that myself:). How zany are those bar stools:)
Love that kitchen and those stools - amazing what you can do with a little thought and creativity!
Cool kitchen, groovy, yet calm at the same time. I like! Never seen the pressed spoons before, and think they're fabulous!
