A Rainy Day

We've had a couple of lovely rainy days here in Melbourne.. Yesterday we made mud puddles and stomped in them and today we've decided to stay indoors. The girls were trying to build a sheet cubby in their room so while they were doing that.. I set up a pretty little corner in their playroom..

We have a funny little alcove in front of the window which was perfect for an indoor 'tent'.. some cheap Ikea curtains, a few cushions and some bunting and there it is. The girls just love it, they've decided they're going to sleep there tonight!

How gorgeous - I want to sleep there too. Did the girls end up there last night? Would have been such fun. Hasn't the weather been weird? (well I suppose for anywhere else it would be, but the "old 4 seasons in one day/week has definitely come in to play in Melbourne this week).

What a heavenly little nest, I'd love one too. In fact, I'd never get out of it if I had one in my house! Your house is just wonderful, what a gorgeous mudroom!
