Nice To Meet You

I've been inspired by Faux Fuchsia and The House That A-M Built to get to know my readers. I so often wonder who you are, where you found me, why you come back. I am so grateful that you take the time to visit, comment or not. You are the some of the most witty, interesting, stylish and encouraging people I have found!

Please tell me more about yourself, your families, your homes, how you found me, what brings you back, anything you'd like to share..I have a little gift for one of you..a brand new copy of Atlanta Bartlett's Easy Elegance. Thanks again for your bloggy friendship xx

Awww Rachael, How lovely! I am new to blogging but I will always remeber you because you were one of my first (in fact I think my second?) follower. I really look forward to your posts because I just feel like we have a lot in common. I live on the Mornington Peninsula (where my husband and I both grew up) and we are building a home at a snail's pace. Yours is one blog that I read word for word and your laundry still has me buzzing. I really enjoyed reading the 7 things about you and think that you have have had an interseting journey through life.
Look forward to many more posts to come. I may be new but I am a loyal follower for sure!
X Briohny.

Hi Rachel, I think I found you through other peoples blogs or through your comments on other blogs and am so glad I did. I was really amazed at how helpful you are to the blogging community. You have posted about lights and given people links and tips and researched. You have lovely style. Your bathroom, laundry and mudroom are gorgeous!!! Hi Rachael

I found you via the lovely A-M. At the time of my first visit you were reading the same book as my husband (can't remember the title but it was about brains changing themselves). I immediately fell in love with your style and the work already completed on your home. We are in the process of gradually renovating a Queenslander built in the early 1900's, your blog is an inspiration to continue.

Hi Rachel, what a generous giveaway!! I've been following you for some time now, I think it was A-M's post on your laundry that led me to you and since then, I've rarely missed a post. I enjoy reading about all the things you share here and your comments on my blog put a smile on my face also.

HI Rachael - how nice to see your face - I have partly outed myself with a new profile pic!

I came across your blog from A-M's laundry post too - i will follow a good laundry pic wherever it takes me! I still work out of a cupboard and all over the house if I'm honest.

You were the most encouraging blogger - simply amazing. I nearly burst with excitement at your first comment - the first I ever got! And you were so helpful with your tips... thank you...

I like girly beautiful blogs with beautiful pictures - there's not much girly stuff over in my life so I NEED you in my life! And your four girls. And your nice laundry. Ann x

I think I found you via Julie-Ann and Katrinas A Very fine House Blog.
I didn't realise A-M has done this also....what a great idea.
Its funny how we generally spend most mornings chatting to each other and providing each other with some inspiration for the day ahead, yet we have no idea who we really are.
I enjoy following your journey and its as simple as that....
So I am a 30 something mum to 1 boy. Some days I still feel like I am a teenage still living in my parents home and I am not repsonsible enough to be making grown up decsions about which lighting I should choose.....or heaven forbit choosing someone elses colours and decor in my business......
Then I wake up and rememeber I am a gown up and I love where I am at and how I got here......and of course I love everything design and decorating as it just comes so naturally.......
Ciao for now
K

Hi Rachael, I'm not sure how we found each other which is how I like to think of it. You've been such a wonderful commenter on my blog, and I hope I on yours. You're a daily read (although I'm a day behind with this one!). Your style is lovely, different to mine and I like seeing what other people like. I want to come and live in your bathroom! You probably know a fair bit about me already apart from what I look like! Maybe one day :) Whoever wins that book will be one lucky duck!

Hmmm, I don't recall how I found you, Rachael, though I suspect it may well have been through some of the lovely ladies who have already commented here, what a lovely little circle of friends they all are :) I can tell you that your blog is a huge source of inspiration, you have some wonderful ideas and I always enjoy visiting you.

I suspect you already know a bit about me from my blog, so I'll tell you something new and completely random! I really love the smell of freshias, I don't always read all the articles in magazines, the last concert I saw was Tori Amos, I've always wanted a St Bernard dog, I would love to live on a farm.

It's a pleasure to visit, as always :)
