Beautiful Home

I've been missing..I'm in ready, set, reno mode..I'm missing all the blog reading so much and have a lot to catch up on..I also have a new love..my new treadmill! I walked 3km before breakfast this morning..(can't believe it) The only problem is where to put it because my new love doesn't really 'go with' my decor..Oh well, I guess you can find a place for almost anything you love..

The beautiful home featured this week is beach cottage style on Fire Island, New York..xx

I feel I am a bit behind with all my blog reading too at the moment. All these images are so lovely, especially the room with the two gorgeous beds, the kitchen and the outdoor chess set. Good on you for using you treadmill - will keep you nice and fit even if it doesn't match your decor :) Have a fabulous weekend xx

I would love a beach house like that to escape to on the weekends ! The ceilings look like they are painted in a gloss white ? It must give it a older dwelling a really fresh clean feeling.
I know what you mean about the treadmill , I would love to have one facing the back garden but it just wouldnt look great. Maybe I should measure how many times I would need to run around the backyard to make up 3 kms or I wonder if you can get a totally white sleek design treadmill ?
Have a great weekend

Keep up the good work on the treadmill, I need to follow suit!! Love all the images, especially the one of the bay and the boardwalk with the man riding the bike. Oh to live that close to the water, a dream come true!! Happy Thursday,Kathysue

Oh I love the kitchen shot, so retro vintage! Also how adorable is that outdoor chess set, I adore it! So Alice and Wonderland-esque.

The images are beautiful! Thank you for sharing them. Well done for exercising before breakfast! I am so impressed. I really struggle to exercise but I am trying to get better! I know what you mean about the exercise equipment, nice if you could set up a home gym but we don't have the room and we leave our gear out on the back patio, hubby brings it in when we use it and then he takes it back out, Treadmills are a bit big to be doing that with though! xx

How gorgeous is this? Love the outdoor chess set, and those black and white photos in the bathroom - prefect. Oh, and good on you for using your treadmill - maybe a nice decorative screen could help it to blend in a bit better?!! K xx

Hi Rachael, I know what you mean. I have a new pilates machine and I absolutely LOVE it, but unfortunately it lives in our formal dining room - well for now anyway. Keep up the good work. I am impressed. Nice pics. Have fun over the weekend scouring those blogs.
